5. World War Z ... ... I started it yesterday, but I read less than 100 pages, so I think it counts. My first full read will probably be Paul of Dune. ... graduated from Hogwarts with a N.E.W.T. in "skivving off" and celebrated with a trip to see an old friend who's new again, Paul of Dune. Unfortunately, I didn't have the prescience to see how bad the trip would be - those who do not learn from reading Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson are ... ... my supplier), I'm not out anything and I have to admit I am curious as to what Brian Herbert is up to. I have a copy of Paul of Dune and hope that Brian stops soon. Paul of Dune is set between Dune and Dune Messiah. It is not in anyway based upon the notes for "Dune 7".
While FH contradicted himself many times in the Dune books - and in commentary elsewhere - not a single word he has written makes it seem likely that a) Daniel & Marty were cross-dressi ... ... and this afternoon we unloaded his car. He brought me a whole bunch of the latest Star Treks and a couple of Star Wars, Paul of Dune, a Sherlock Holmes anthology, Empire by Orson Card and a few oldies that I somehow missed when they first came out - maybe I was just too young when they did ... ... my collection, and foolishly read them. I hoped it would there, but no... There's now a new trilogy, beginning with Paul of Dune, and Pinky & the Brian are planning another set of three after that - about the setting up of the various "schools" in the Duniverse. There's only so much I ... Paul of Dune showed up in my door a couple of days ago. Quite a surprise as I didn't receive any notice that I would be getting it. It's the second Bostick book that I've received, although I've indicated my interest for more than that. I received Paul of Dune yesterday. It was from Bostick. ... machines just never quite jibed with my mental picture. I was expecting Skynet, and got... uh, something else. ;)
With Paul of Dune's return to the Imperium, I find myself looking forward to see what Brian and Kevin have to offer.
