None No current Talk conversations about this book. Since the late 1980s/early 1990s, Budapest has been a magent for people from all over the world. Some came to start businesses, some to study, some to see a new culture, and some for love. Author Judith Lang interviewed many of these expats for the Budapest Sun, an English language newspaper. This book is a compilation of 18 of these interviews, providing the text of the original interviews along with that follow-up interviews after the subjects had spent a number of years in the country. The writing style is simple, straightforward, and overwhelmingly positive in tone, and it is interesting to read the motivations and experiences of the diverse group.
