This book was one of my favorites, the main idea is to love one another as if they were family. A kitten was left to be brought up by a family of mice. The mice family, Miggses, found this kitten and brought him up as their own. Mickey, the cat, loved his mice family until one day the human family put out a bowl of milk and showed Mickey his reflection and showed him that he was in fact a cat. The humans then took him in and Mickey visited his mice family all the time. ( )

A mouse family finds a helpless newborn kitten and decide to adopt him. They never told Mickey that he is a cat. Finally one day Mickey finds out the truth. He then becomes a cat. But he still visits his mouse family. I like the book because it shows that no matter where we come from, we can always become friends.
