This book is an abbreviated look at the campaigns of some 25 years for the US Presidency by the author of The Making of the President series that started in 1960, and ended with the fall of Nixon. This book goes through to the capmpaign that elected Ronald Reagan, and goes back to the second Stevenson nomination in 1956. Pretty solid, a definite read for those curious about the lastter half of the 20th century's Presidential campaigns. ( )
