A wonder monograph on a "Book of Hours" explaining each section of the "Hours" in concise, easy to understand terminology, but the appendices contain listing of religious feasts for an entire year - broken out by month, etc.

A wonderful primer for those interested in making the own "Book of Hours". ( )

Excellent introduction with the provenance of the book and the strange twists that it went through. Nice descriptions of the contents. Beautiful photos of the folios. ( )
