Fear And Loathing: On The Campaign Trail changed my life forever. It made me realize I want to be a journalist, and showed me that I didn't have to write like everyone else.
Since then, I have become a psychotic fan of Hunte ... ... soon.
Vegas, is, of course, and without a doubt, a classic, and belongs on the list. And I agree with coffeezombie that Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 is, by far, one of the best books on American politics.
One of my favorite things of his to read though are his “press ... ... leftovers!
