A woman spy becomes a heroin addict as part of her mission for British intelligence in Hong Kong. She is Eva Cunningham, an Oxford-educated beauty sent to infiltrate the circle of Robie Frazer, a wealthy English businessman supplying forbidden weapons to China and dealing in drugs on the side. The novel follows their relationship from boardroom to bedroom as Eva prepares to lure Frazer to his destruction. But the plan goes wrong when she is recognized as an agent and must count on a fellow Oxford graduate, another woman, to save her. By the author of Nest of Vipers.
