My favourite book of short stories though is For Esme with love and squalor by J.D. Salinger, which is also know as Nine Stories in some parts of the world. Many of J. D. Salinger's characters, including Holden Caulfield and possibly Jane Galligher seem to me to be INFPs. From Salinger's Nine Stories, I would include Teddy, Seymour, Buddy, Franny, Sergeant X from "Esme"

Fun Home: a family tragicomic: Alison Bechdel I'd also like to recommend Nine Stories, which contains some of Salinger's best work. He always was best in the short story form. #46 I'm 21, so maybe it's a generational thing. While I logically know that Nine Stories is superior, Catcher in the Rye managed to perfectly capture how much being a teenager sucks - in the most beautiful, heartbreaking, and funny way possible.
