( )Expect to find some parts of this book offensive by modern standards--racist, sexist, etc. But if you can get over that, they are magical stories. Specifically about this translation--the translator takes his job very seriously, but I found it slightly frusterating that it is just a selection of stories without the back story of why they are being told. One of my favorite books. I love the story of Sheherazzade and her stregnth and courage. no reviews | add a review
