Pappas shows the fun side of math, not just for the math lover, but also for the math phobic. The whimsical persona she has chosen to narrate mathematical fun is her cat, Penrose. Some sections I've read aloud to my preschool children to their enjoyment, but it's really going to be received best in early elementary school, I suspect. In a classroom, this would be a fun read aloud. Penrose is a cat with a knack for math that takes children on an adventurous tour of mathematical concepts from fractals to infinity. no reviews | add a review
