This is a really good installment of the series. I'm not extremely fond of some of the inappropriate, icky bits... but that's what the "skip ahead" button is for. ( ) 1.75 stars. this was okay for what it was, but much of it was less than what it could be, and less than what he can do. there were specific things that he's done in other earlier books that he did better than here. (for example the whole 4.5/5 Another great installment to the series. I would argue my favorite so far, and one of Kings best writings. I absolutely love the exploration of this post apocalyptic world that happens in the second half of the story. But that doesnât mean that the first half, and this books âDrawingâ, where dull moments. Finally we get to see more emotional depth developing from our supporting characters, as well as their importance in the story. I love Eddieâs part in the drawing. His character needed the attention, and Stephen King did not drop the ball. I wasnât exactly thrilled about the entire carving process, but the connections between our New York and his world that were created from the âcarvingâ was great. After the fourth Drawing of the series, the book starts to take off with learning about the lore of this world, and I believe thatâs why I liked it much more than the previous two. Many answers were given; to questions I didnât even know I had. But at the same time we are left with dozens more budding up through the mess that was this books ending. A chaotically fun mess that ends in a cliff hanger, but a mess still. On to the Fourth! no reviews | add a review
