Beautiful illustrations in the style of Persian miniatures. A retelling of the story of Queen Esther from her point of view. Too long for a story time for very young children, but if they know the story, then, in honor of the topsy-turviness of Purim, have them tell you the story based on the pictures. ( )

A great rendition of Esther's story - very informative and entertaining. A great supplement to my Book Of Esther bible study, as a nice straightforward overview. ( )

Almost twenty-five centuries ago, a shy orphan girl was unexpectedly chosen as queen of Persia. Blessed with majesty and humanity, she risked the wrath of a king to save her people. ( )
