Can they receive a gift from someone on the "unsinkable ship?" It provides a fictional story while throwing in actual facts. Have the students research information on the Titanic. Tonight on the Titanic: This book is very sad but the ending is very peaceful. It just take's you into that world even though it's so scary it's reallr worth to read. Jack and annie travel through their tree house to the night of the titanic sinking. Helping a girl and her little brother on the boat they receive a gift and make it home just in time. This book teaches a little and gives entertainment, always a good mix. 5874032 Genre: Fantasy/informational Age Appropriateness: intermediate/middle school Media- pencil Setting Steamship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean is where the setting takes place. This is important the story because it is about the sinking of the Titanic and the people who were killed on the steamship that was considered “unsinkable.” Review: This is a good example of fantasy because Jack and Annie travel through time to the Titanic. The tree house takes them to places them back to 1912 and then miraculous gets them back to the present once they have seen or have gotten what they need for the next adventure. This story is also informational because of the facts about the sinking of the Titanic that are throughout the story. no reviews | add a review
