A collection of the most annoying prose styles to ever write about Japan. The essay on Nantonaku, Crystal is incomprehensible, even if you've read Tanaka Yasuo's original Japanese text. Asada Akira's essay on Japan as "Infantile Capitalism" is very interesting: he rejects the idea that Japan is some sort of postmodern paradise. ( )
