Another in the Time-Life series of glossy overviews of new wave and psychic topics. This one focused mostly on what it calls psychokinesis (and I call telekinesis), with a digression in the last few sections into a miscellany of powers about bodily control, such as biofeedback, hypnosis and firewalking.

It tends a bit to much toward the credulous end for me, especially in the (otherwise excellent) section on scientific study of PK, but is generally fascinating.

Has the same issues of organization, black-on-silver and random drop caps as the other books in this series. ( )
