... Flying, George Orwell ... he is also threatening me with Other Voices, Other Rooms, by Truman Capote. After reading In Cold Blood, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Answered Prayers- and finding them all a bit >meh< I would consider myself to not be a Capote fan AT ALL

The most famous one, and I think you might have read it: In cold blood by Truman Capote. Interested in it myself as well, curious for the suggestions.

Hi Belva - I plan on starting it tonight! I've only read Capote's In Cold Blood. I trust this book will be different. :) Hey space - I didn't realize how lucky I was to get a signed copy until alphaorder clued me in!

#57 boulder_a_t, I read In cold blood half a year ago, and also would call it great. Very intriguing and shocking.

Good week. Finished In Cold Blood. Great book. Started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, lots of fun, but I hadn't read the original, so I've put it down for a while and picked up Pride and Prejudice. Really like it and make Zombies even funnier. Also jumping around in The Fireside Bo ...

1966 - The year I graduated from h.s. The only books I can recall reading from this batch are Valley of the Dolls and In Cold Blood. Oh, and I have that particular dictionary (though not sure if it's 1966 edition) but haven't actually read it, just, you know, leafed through it from ...

You've got some great books to look forward to! I've read a few of them: In Cold Blood - terrific and ageless. See the movie Capote too, if you have a chance; it's about the writing of the book My Antonia quite lyrical, as always with Cather Child 44 a wonderful mystery in a ...

I've read The Fixer and In Cold Blood. And, you know, the dictionary.

... It's not maudlin or stark. It's just reads like natural progression. My favorite so far this year. Just started In Cold Blood. Another one I've been meaning to read for years. So fresh, it could have been written yesterday. The depth of Capote's research amazes. Complete portraits ...

From wflooter480's library I would pick Truman Capote's In Cold Blood as it's a title I really do want to pick up at some point in the not too distant future. For those that like a little humour with their mystery/crime writings then I would recommend one of Christopher Brookmyre's ...

... Mr. Wicher. The book is waiting here for me. I became interested in it, after enjoying (that might not be the good word) In cold blood.

I loved In Cold Blood. It is one of my favorite books. Capote did an amazing job of telling the story without disrespecting the Clutter family.
