This book is a good example of a fantasy book, because even though Easter is a real holiday, bunnies do not actually paint the eggs. The setting of this book was an important part. The Easter Bunny's helpers each went to a different location to get inspired for painting their eggs. One went to the ocean, one went to the forest and the other went to the meadow with the flowers. The artwork was also a very important part of the story because the Easter Bunny's helpers are competing against each other to make the best design. The artwork in this book looks like it was done in paint.

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0439443210, Paperback)

This charming Easter tale from talented author-illustrator Jerry Smath tells the story of Easter Bunny, his three helpers--Willa, Bella, and Jellybean--and an adventure-filled egg painting contest.

Easter Bunny has always painted all the Easter Eggs himself, but this year his eyes are tired! So he holds an Easter Egg Painting Contest among his helpers to find the best new design. Inspired by a lighthouse at the seashore, Willa Bunny paints bold red stripes on her egg. Jellybean Bunny paints pretty spring flowers on his egg in the country. But Bella Bunny gets lost in the woods, trying to follow drifting clouds. When night arrives, stars appear--giving Bella the idea to paint golden stars on her egg. And who's the winner of the contest? All three little bunnies!
