They pay their dues, work ard, andweather deep disappointments. Then their dreams come true. But real lire is differentfrom fairy tales as they struggled with marital problems for years. Sooner or later, we all come to the point when we realize that real joy and peace isn't just around the corner of the next achievement, next relationship, or next thing. It's a story of the greatest love of all, the love that will never let you go, and how to find it, no matter who you are, where you live, or what you've done. ( )I just finished reading "It's All About Him" by Denise Jackson (Alan Jackson's wife). Denise and Alan had a fairy tale romance and marriage until it all fell apart. Alan moved out and Denise had to start life all over w/o him. This book has a very happy ending with D&A getting back together and with a much deeper, more commited than ever relationship. Also this is a story of spirtual growth and renewal. The book gave me a lot of insights into Alan's songs and his heartbeat for family, God and country. I loved the book. I would give it 4 stars. The "Him" that it's all about in the title isn't the author's husband, country music superstar Alan Jackson. Rather, this book is about putting God first. Denise Jackson discusses her marriage to the country superstar and the struggles that God brought them through, from their days as high school sweethearts to today. no reviews | add a review
