The four women plan to outlet shop while one of their husbands tries to introduce a new product at the Inventor’s Expo. They endure lost luggage, broken air conditioning, and find themselves involved in the murder of a sleazy hotel operator. That’s when the BHN goes into detective mode to solve the killing and clear their names. This second BHN mystery romps through madcap scenes including a bicycle chase, a squirrel lover’s convention, a frustrated actor in a teddy bear costume, a golf cart pursuit, and a final standoff with the killer. Dunn brings God into the plot just enough to classify this as a Christian mystery, but there is so much going on and so many characters, readers can get confused. Overall, a fun mystery that’s an easy read with a good dose of humor. Rating: 3—NSK ( )no reviews | add a review
