Oh, Wicked Gentlemen was great! Someone on LT turned me on to it, and I'm so glad they did. I agree, I'd like more about those characters. Helcura--Did you like Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale? I did. And I wish there were more stories about those characters. (it's M/M for those who may need to know.)
vicouslittlething-- Rob Thurman's Cal Leandros series is one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series.
I just finished a ... Fantasy
Wicked Gentlemen
I liked it, but there really isn't too much substance. Some interesting ideas, but neither the characters nor the plot is fleshed out enough. It is a really fast read though - I think I finished it in about 2 1/2 hours or so. ... may find something in there you'll enjoy:
Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman
Jeremy Thrane by Kate Christensen
Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale (fantasy)
As Meat Loves Salt by Maria McCann (historical)
Before I Lose My Style by Mike Kaspar
From Blue to Black by Joel Lane
Drea ... ... Night by Gena Showalter for my "Demons" catagory and really enjoyed it.
Another good "Demon" themed book is Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale. The main character is a gay demon. It was a very imaginative mystery/urban fantasy type book I'd highly recommend.
I like the ... I've been a fan of paranormal books since the Christopher Pike days! Since then, I've become fans of Laurell K. Hamiliton(vampires and fae), Kim Harrison, Jeaniene Frost, L.J. Smith, Patricia Briggs, and a ton more.
I think this WILL be a challenge and will force me to ... 39th book of 2008:
Ginn Hale - Wicked Gentlemen
Steampunk fantasy with two intriguing gay characters. ... Bennett
72. Firebirds Rising: An Anthology of Original Science Fiction and Fantasy edited by Sharyn November
73. Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale
74. Love and Sleep by John Crowley
75. Through a Brazen Mirror: The Famous Flower of Servingmen by Delia Sherman
Now let's see if I ... ...
In order
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer (young adult/urban fantasy)
Havemercy by Jaida Jones (fantasy)
Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale (urban fantasy/mystery)
Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey (young adult/fantasy)
If You Deceive by Kresley Cole (historical ... ... off the Dante Valentine series - it's quite an enjoyable read - I think you'll like it, mitchsz.
ETA: I just finished Wicked Gentlemen. ... books by Katie MacAlister, Magic Lost, Trouble Found by Lisa Shearin, The Blood Books by Tanya Huff and Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale. However, none of these are young adult stories like the ones you mentioned. ... very active though.
If you like your slash with fantasy I can recommend:
The God Eaters by Jesse Hajicek.
Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale.
The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling. At least the first three books. The fourth in the series is a little weak.
Ellen Kush ... My top three were pretty easy to pick:
Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale was a great urban fantasy crime and mystery story with a wonderful tortured hero in Belimai.
Skin Hunger by Kathleen Duey, another dark fantasy, this time one written for teens. Would be great for fans of the ... "I'd be happy to."
Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale
"Were you trying to share the horror of your childhood?" 55th - Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips
56th - If You Dare by Kresley Cole
57th - Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale From Wicked Gentlemen by Ginn Hale:
"I turned to the only other person in the waiting room with me at the moment. The office secretary looked back at me with all the charm of a halibut. I tried to study him with interest, imagining that somewhere behind his murky green eyes there might ... I'm still reading The Blue Sword and due to a bout of work induced insomnia about 2:30 a.m. I picked Wicked Gentlemen out of my tbr pile to give it a go. It is much different than I expected, less sordid and more like a Harry Dresden/mystery novel. But, it was interesting and relaxed me ...
