I was so fascinated as a kid by the fact that the one page spread REALLY LOOKED like it was made of bricks, scotch tape, etc. Blew my mind. ( )

Growing up in the 70's this was one of my favorite books and now I love sharing it with my 5 year old daughter. I am not sure which one of us enjoy it more. ( )

A classic Sesame Street book featuring Grover. This is a super cute interactive story with Grover talking right to the reader!

I loved this book when I was a kid :-) My son came home to tell me about this great book that someone in his class brought to school. When he described it, it was this book! ( )

The Monster at the End of This Book: Starring Lovable, Furry Old Grover

Book description

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 037582913X, Hardcover)

Many, many adults name this book as their favorite Little Golden Book. Generations of kids have interacted with lovable, furry old Grover as he begs the reader not to turn the page—for fear of a monster at the end of the book. “Oh, I am so embarrassed,” he says on the last page . . . for, of course, the monster is Grover himself! This all-time favorite is now available as a Big Little Golden Book—perfect for lap-time reading.
