Not only is he unbelievably attracted to Breanne, his houseguest, but now there's a dead body to attend to, a missing manager to find, and suspects to question. Breanne's honeymoon-all ready minus the groom-isn't shaping up to be much of a vacation, and Cooper's determined to keep her safe. And it doesn't have anything to do with the pink vibrator in their suite-really.

Jill Shalvis has penned another winner, an exciting mix of action-adventure, police procedural, wickedly funny whodunit, and steamy romance. You can't go wrong picking up a copy of GET A CLUE-but don't blame me if you're disappointed when the story is over. ( )

Jill Shalvis is a fun author...this book was cute and fun. Breanne goes on her "honeymoon" after being left at the altar--nothing goes right--her flight is terrible, her luggage is lost, and when she finally arrives at the house she rented, someone else is in the honeymoon suite! Cooper Scott is looking to find out what to do with his life now that he quit his job. He needs some R&R and maybe a nice ski bunny...not a crazy woman with a smart mouth!Since this is a romance novel, the story begins based around Breanne and Cooper's mutual attraction and confusion about how to deal with it...things get out of hand when Breanne stumbles across a dead body and they get a little edgy thinking they are in the house with a murderer. The staff is a a little quirky--the former gang member, the oh-so-innocent cook, the sultry maid, and the not-so-handy handyman. It made me think a bit of Clue and how outrageous it all was. It definitely made me laugh.It was a quick read with a good, happy ending. ( )
