Slow so so reading ( )

Romantic suspense as a genre appears to be a sexually explicit version of the pulp fiction that we used to categorise as "lurids". This account of the murders surrounding a philandering lawyer is racy in every sense Its pace makes it an easy read but I did not feel any affinity with any of the characters and never forgot that I was reading fiction. I found the experience nasty but I know that this appeals to some. ( )
