The continuation of Skeeve's Mythadventures, but on his own while Aahz is away on Perv for personal reasons. The story is in the same vein as the prior ones, and the schtick is holding up pretty well. There are some unexpected twists, of course. The main objective is to demonstrate that Skeeve is maturing emotionally and socially, while also improving his magical skills, and Asprin succeeds. I recommend the series for preteens especially, but adults will also find it amusing. Some of the topical allusions to our own "alternate universe" are dated now, but that doesn't detract too much. no reviews | add a review

SKEEVE
But if you need cheering up just read the book, the fourth volume in the myth series finds Skeeve working on his own and doing well? The jokes are just as dumb but still funny.
"The only thing worse than a sorcerer is a sorcerer's apprentice."
M. MOUSE
It's great fun when Skeeve takes on the mob and a marriage happy princess as he takes the kings place. ( )
