I like APA citation style waaaay more than MLA, but this could have either been a pamphlet with the essentials laid out in intuitive fashion, or a big book like it is, but with some actual information about experiment design and evaluation of data. But I guess then they wouldn't sell as many textbooks on experiment design and evaluation of data, so they fill it with padding instead. It's important to present your hypothesis clearly? Get out!
