Your reviewIt was a tall order to wrap up the series, but I think Rowling does a pretty good job here. It's remarkable how much consistency she's been able to maintain over the course of the seven books. This book does contain evidence of what I think is her most significant problem as a storyteller--her characters ricochet between willful, silly ignorance and brilliant flashes of insight. Some of that can be explained away as a part of adolescence, but occasionally the ploy wears thin. Overall, though, this is a great thrill-ride and a satisfying close for Harry Potter.
