Since a lot of people thought that he died in the last book (Peter and the Shadowthieves). Now, he is forcing Peter to tell him where the Starstuff is (read to find out!!). He now relizes that he is related to Molly, his friend. Once again Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson have produced a very entertaining and satisfying read. This one has several story lines going simultaneously and re-introduces George Darling, Molly Aster, Leonard Aster, and Ombra. There are new evil doers and we get to see a little more of Smee and the Mollusks. As always, Tinker Bell has all the best lines. Just love that little bird-woman! Recommended for children of all ages. This is my SSR book for quarter 4. I have read 496 pages. This is another book in it's series (although I am not exactly sure if I'm going in the right order). Basically, this is the story where Peter is in danger since he apparently obtained his father's ability to find an important thing that almost all his enemies are after, the Starstuff. Molly and George on the adventure of a lifetime to help save Peter from getting hurt, or worse, getting killed by the people who don't really keep their words. But there is an old enemy that apparently is still alive, even though everyone was pretty sure that he was ea, Ombra, the one that controls shadows. He sees the bigger picture if he is able to get the starstuff, which is why he is after Peter. Fantastic ending of a great series for kids. Tinker Bell continued to be a wonderful character and the other characters were great as well. I especially liked George more in this story, as well as Leonard Aster. I also liked that the story alternated between Peter and Molly and their trials attempting to stop Lord Ombra and the Mollusks and their battles with the Scorpions. Shining Pearl was clearly meant to parallel Tiger Lily and I liked her interactions with the pirates. I loved the ending with Hook. Overall, a wonderful series. no reviews | add a review
