This book is about things that give you peace. I would use this in a classroom because it is a great learning book for children, it teaches them about peace. I would use this for ages 2,3,4,5, and 6.

Reaction: Each illustration of Parr’s picture book is simple and colourful, which is appealing for young and adult readers alike. I personally was drawn to the “blissful” cover, drenched in bright colours, just oozing of happiness and promise. The broad definition of peace including ideas such sharing with one another, making friends, feeling good about oneself and embracing diversity makes the term “peace” more concrete and easy to understand. With this definition, readers realize that peace starts with oneself and that everyone has the ability to make a difference and impact peace even at a small scale. ( )
