I finished The Collectors last week and since it left you hanging I wanted to see what was next for the Camel Club. Parts of this book I liked: Alex, my favorite character was back and more of a part of this story than he had been in The Collectors; more about Annabelle, the interesting and likable con artist; and some of Oliver's secretive past is explained. There is plenty of action and twists but at times too much killing that is "justified" by main characters. There is also a surprising death but I think that helps to make the story more real. In summary, though not Baldacci's best it is still a page turner and a nice escape for summer reading. This is the first book I bought for my Kindle and read on the eBook reader. Since goodreads doesn't have an option for eBooks, I just picked the hardback edition for my shelf. Oliver Stone, et al, and Annabelle Conroy team up to battle Jerry Bagger (Annabelle conned 40 million dollars from him) and Harry Finn who is assassinating people associated with Stone's past. Milton ends up getting killed. no reviews | add a review

This book is rather action packed and keeps one wondering what is going to happen next. It also is mostly 'reasonable' as far as spy novels go, no major groaners for easy outs or spectacularly impossible feats. Just reasonable over the top action.
Overall an enjoyable book, well written and no one had any unexplained superpowers show up out of the blue. I liked it and it's worth a read. Also Ron McLarty did an excellent job IMO in reading as well. (
