Charles Stephen Brooks (1878-1934) was an American businessman and writer. He graduated from Yale in 1900 and worked as a member of his father s printing business in Cleveland, writing a few articles for various magazines. His published works include: Journeys to Bagdad (1915), There s Pippins and Cheese to Come (1917), Chimney-Pot Papers (1919), Like Summer s Cloud (? ), Luca Sarto (1920), Hints to Pilgrims (with Florence Minard) (1921), Frightful Plays (1922), Wappin Wharf (1922), A Thread of English Road (1924), Roundabout to Canterbury (1926), The Tragedy of Josephine Maria (1931) and A Window at the Inn (1934).
