This and "Time Travelers Strictly Cash" are classics. They're funny, thought provoking and hilarious. And I really wish I could think of something punny to say about them. :-) ( )

This is the first collection of Spider Robinson's stories about Callahan's Saloon, his most popular creation. 'The Guy with the Eyes' started it all with it's appearance in Analog magazine in February 1973. Other stories include 'The Time Traveler,' 'Just Dessert.' 'Unnatural Causes,' and 'The Wonderful Conspiracy.' "Shared pain is diminished; shared joy is increased" is the motto of Callahan's. ( )

A collection of short stories set in a place called Callahan's Saloon. Usually the same set of regulars patrons are in each story with a odd person who shows up at the bar with a sad or tall tale to tell. Most of the stories were funny. Fun, quick read. ( )
