Crazy oil
oil with very strange qualities is found in Venus. Expedition trying to collect it is destroyed and another is send to investigate. On it is among others a man and a woman with common stormy past.
The main plot-twist can be seen by anyone who has read more than two sf books in his life on about second page. The romantic wrangling of the protagonists is highly cliched. Writing is ok, a bit of condensing might have been a good idea. ***-
Alien rope-like beings sue humanity due to indecency of the books about knots. Entertaining short story, child of its time. ***
Sixth face
Asian spies try to infiltrate a defense project. A bit confusing, fragmented, but the mental state of the main protagonist is also such. Nothing very special. **+
Doing Lennon
someone who is woken from being corpsicle claims to be John Lennon.
A bit of twist ending which actually hurts the story.*** (
