Awesome book! Lou used to be the "worst kid ever", but when she returns to Stoneybrook in this book, she acts like a perfect little angel! At first no one knows what to think, but then Abby starts to realize that Lou isn't just acting "perfect", she's wayyy too cautious and helpful, trying way too hard to be good. Lou is the kind of kid that somehow always makes a mess or screws up, even when trying to be helpful, and at times it's funny. But despite multiple reassurances, every time the slightest thing goes wrong, Lou acts like it's the end of the world. Abby knows there is more going on then just a young child wanting to please people. This is one of my favorite BSC books, Lou McNally is one of my favorite "charges" of theirs. ( )
