My biggest takeaway is that Mama Bear definitely starts this story by doing kitchen witchery, which I love for her. What a truly chaotic Thanksgiving book. ( )

This is one of the better BB books, in my opinion. I like that it is written in poetry. But it deals with some pretty heavy subject matter, like Brother and Sister putting themselves in death's way to make a point to the judgmental Bear Country community. ( )

In this rhyming story the bear family has heard of the legend of Bigpaw- the giant bear. They've heard he's going to attack, but the bear cubs find out he's nice and friendly when he saves them. They stop Papa's mob and teach everyone the meaning of hospitality on Thanksgiving. ( )
