Work detailsEven Now by Karen Kingsbury
None. Kingsbury caught my attention with the first sentence of this book and held it until the end. It is a powerful book about young love and parents love for their children. I found myself rooting for Shane and Lauren, hoping they could overcome their parents’ objections and remain together. This book was very good and well written. A true love story. Innuendo: This is a story about an unwed pregnancy. There is nothing graphic and after she is pregnant there are just a few kisses. Violence: A shooting Swearing: Not that I can recall Drinking, Drugs, or Smoking: Don't remember any Age Appropriate: 15 and up Similar/Better books: None come to mind Teenagers fall in love. Parents separate them. Twenty years later daughter finds them. no reviews | add a review

I'm new to Karen Kingsbury and a friend gave this book to read. She thought that it was a wonderful story. Well, I have to agree with her, the book was terrific. Once I started reading the book I had a hard time putting it down. The author's style of writing is warm and heartfelt and I can hardly wait to read another book by this author. (
