An iteresting book about island life. I can see why Jimmy Buffett chose this story to make a musical about. ( )

This book was recommended to me, and I was a bit apprehensive about taking it up. I was wrong. It was literary entertainer...a combo not easy to achieve. ( )

So you think doing business in the Caribbean will be all fun andgames? Ha! As a born and bred island girl, I found this book hugely authentic and entertaining... even 40 years after it was first published! ( )
