... about it. I liked it, but I think I'll need to read it another time or two before I really get what was going on. 153. Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce Young Adult, fantasy, 534 pages Tortall (Beka Cooper) 154. *The Mislaid Magician or Ten Years After by Patricia Wrede and Carol ...

From Internet Book Database I won: Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce I have never read any of her books so decided to take a chance on the book. Will be reading after the new year most likely.

11) Beka Cooper: Bloodhound - Tamora Pierce Slightly predictable in places, but a good read! I liked how Pierce linked the book more to the previous Tortall books. Next up: The Summer Tree - Guy Gavriel Kay Hamlet - William Shakespeare Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen ...

I'm in the middle of Bloodhound and listening to The Soldiers of Halla. I also need to read Catcher in the Rye since I checked it out from the library almost a month ago and I still haven't cracked it open. I also have the manga version on The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, which will ...

... - Diana Gabaldon Big book, but well worth the read! Excellent characters, great pace & plot. Next up: Beka Cooper: Bloodhound - Tamora Pierce The Summer Tree - Guy Gavriel Kay Poison Study - Maria V. Snyder Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen

Concerning Bloodhound here is a 1976 statement from Random House, Inc.: "All of the first editions of Random House, Pantheon, and A.A. Knopf books carry the words "FIRST EDITION" in small caps on the copyright page. These first editions are by our definition also first printings. This ...

... collecting, I'd appreciate some help with a little conundrum. I recently (like late last school year) acquired a copy of Bloodhound the second Beka Cooper novel by Tamora Pierce. A friend bought it for me at a book signing and got it signed as I was unable to attend. The book is in good ...

Just started on Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce. It's so nice to see that I can still get as caught up in her books now as I did in junior high when I stumbled across her Song of the Lioness Quartet.

28. Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce It was reading the back cover of Terrier that first got me interested in reading Tamora Pierce's books (though actually I read Squire first). And I enjoyed this one just as much as that one, when I finally read it, I think. I like Beka, and I wish she would ...

>247 You're welcome! The next one is called Bloodhound and came out not too long ago.

37 Bloodhound Bloodhound is the second book in Tamora Pierce's Beka Cooper series. This is the only series of hers I've read, but if the rest of her books are this calibre I think she's got a new fan. The books are aimed at teen girls, but anybody who enjoys a well written story should have no ...

finally got a chance to start and I've jus finished readig Bloodhound (The Legend of Beka Cooper, Book 2) by Tamora Pierce. It was pretty good in following on from the previous book in the series, although it was slightly predicatble in some parts.

... Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine & Covenants next, although maybe not right away. Still reading Bloodhound, and greatly enjoying Pierce's writing.

... reading a book called By the Hand of Mormon, research for my thesis I'll be writing Fall semester of next year. Just got Bloodhound today, but I'm making myself finish the Pratchett book before starting it.

... I couldn't go to the event because of school work. One of my friends was nice enough to buy me a copy of her new book Bloodhound and even got it autographed by Pierce. She's been holding it trying to catch me for the past week or two to hand it over, and we finally connected tonight at ...

... part. She does an excellent job of making bad guys that still seem human. I'm kicking myself because I didn't buy a copy of Bloodhound when I was at Powell's last week. Guess I'll just have to borrow it from a friend.

... finish the Song of the Lioness quartet. I might read Terrier on the side, though, because I've heard much praise about Bloodhound.

... heroine, and her advancement through the books is steadier and less "suddenly she's good at everything" - although Bloodhound just topped my list as Best Pierce Book Ever.

#49. Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinsey Although I enjoyed Bloodhound quite a bit, I was working through some very busy days and only had a little time to read each day so it took me 4 days. I was ready for something quick, and I had picked this book up at Costco a couple of weeks ago. D ...

Along with several others here, I have recently finished Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce. I just finished both Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce and Eon:The Dragoneye Reborn by Allison Goodman and loved both, especially for the strong female protagonists. I thought Bloodhound was even stronger (more deft plotting) than Terrier, and I'm growing to love Beka even more. I ...

Loved Bloodhound as well. Took me only an evening to read but it was worth the missed sleep. There was lots of fascinating bits of information on counterfeit coins there.

... it out. Easy reading, great for middle school, probably the weakest of the Chrestomanci books for me. Now, back to Bloodhound.

I thought it was all-around excellent. It bumped Squire down to #2 in Best Tortall Book, although I'm not sure how Bloodhound will rate in rereadability.

I'm in the middle of Bloodhound right now and enjoying it. Haven't figured out the details of the mystery yet, but working on it.

...and I put Bloodhound in after hearing an excerpt at a con - in 2007. It's been delayed a bit (only a bit over a month to go! Yay! (if it works this time...)). You'll see arguments (well, discussions, at least) between people who enter _only_ books they physically own (and delete any they ...

Bloodhound is coming out April 28. If you check the website here, there's a list of her upcoming projects through 2013.

Yesterday on the plane I read an ARC of Bloodhound. *gloats, somewhat unbecomingly* It's very good. I won't give away any spoilers, so don't worry. Then, yesterday evening I read 3 Willows: The Sisterhood Grows, which was all right, if you liked the original series. I thought the title was ...
