Alternative title: Jack the Wolf. Leo is new at school. He's not very happy about being new -- and he's not thrilled about any of the activities, or he's too shy to have a go -- until it's time for the children to sing the "Little Red Riding Hood" song when Leo volunteers to wear the wolf mask. All the other children are afraid of the wolf -- except Leo. He made a fine wolf and he enjoyed it. "But the other children didn't. They wanted to play with Leo, not the wolf. Leo was just Leo again. Today was the day. His very first day at school." (the end) ( )
