A fun story book about rules. ( )

I loved this book! It has great pictures and a good lesson too. It is about a family of bears that goes to the beach. The father and son go swimming together and the father teaches the son all the "rules of the beach". Rules include, reading all signs, checking the water before you dive or jump, watch your step, etc. The father explains all these rules to the son while as not really following the rules himself, so the book has a humor to it as well! papa bear and son bear discuss the different rules on the beach to keep yourself safe. Fun rhyming book that encourages safety.

Another classic in the Bears series, this one is all about beach and water safety! Papa Bear has 10 rules, each of them demonstrated to help his son understand the dangers of the beach and sea. From diving and hitting your head, to swimming in caves(or giant fish!), he shows his son how to avoid being hurt while having fun on vacation.
A great little book to read in a nook, with wonderful rhymes and a fun theme, always a great pleasure to read! ( )

My first graders laughed and laughed at this book. It was great fun. Papa Bear really took a beating though. Very enjoyable. ( )
