I'd say this is normal Elric stuff but in graphic novel format. Very episodic like the novels. Kind of repetitious and work with each elemental god one at a time was kind of corny.

It's the prequel to the Elric books and written by Michael Moorcock so if your a completist or your just starting the Elric series this wouldn't be a bad read. Didn't do a whole lot for me. ( )

Interesting for the Elric fan, but not essential. My impression is that Moorcock, while remaining a good writer, is not a great comic book writer. I don't have a lot of experience with comic book art, but I didn't have any problem with illustrations in this one. ( )

The early history of Elric, the making of the sorcerer. Fun sword and sorcery without too much depth. ( )
