I just finished Volume 3. The story is really picking up! No big cliff hanger this time but I'm still eagerly waiting to start Volume 4. ( )

This is a great story of people and computer-robots that look like people called persocoms. There are many complexities among the relationships between humans and persocoms. What is next for Hideki, the college student, and his unusual persocom, Chi? ( )

This story seems to find Chi suffering from split personality issues and also finding a better job than her last one. It also raises more questions about Chi's creator and the author of the "A City With No People" books Chi seems to have an odd facination with. I'm looking forward to reading more of these books in the future. ( )

Very cute series, was fun looking for references to computers in the body of the work. Perhaps dates this series though as well. Had very likeable characters, story was a bit confusing and has an ending that is.. a little disappointing. I felt like the ending was rushed and too abrupt. ( )

Book description
Computers are supposed to make people's lives easier, but as Hideki is quickly finding out, taking care of your computer can be a full-time job! Regardless, Hideki is thrilled to have a persocom of his own - the enigmatic Chi - even if she isn't as user-friendly as other computers. His friends tell him that Chi is a supercomputer, possibly a legendary Chobit - an AI. That would explain why she acts so human. Maybe she's a little too human. The more time Hideki spends with Chi, the more it feels like an actual relationship. But as Chi's feelings for Hideki intensify, she begins to unlock the secrets of her past ... secrets that are better left forgotten.
