( )This is the 4th book in the Immortals after Dark Series. The book introduces Neomi who lost her life on one of the biggest nights of her career as a ballerina. During the celebration she is stabbed and dies and becomes a ghost in her home. One night a vampire who is pretty much insane is brought in by his brothers, He is going through bloodlust and they are trying to basically detox him. Conrad sees neomi and she can't believe it. He actually sees her. She is a ghost and he is a vampire so you are completely thrown into this unusual story and I couldn't wait to read the rest and see how it ended. It was a fabulous book. Ms. Cole knows how to write and how to write VERY good. The agony and heartfelt emotions are written so clearly you almost feel like you are watching a movie. Paranormal romance is really taken to the highest degree if Ms. Cole is writing the book. Mooched in, 4/24/09. I really wasn't sure how this would go - seeing as the chick starts off as a ghost. And really how can you have a romance novel if there is no sex. Well, I found out towards the end. This book really sucked me in and as always, Cole twisted a magnificent plot with lots of action, sex, and moving scenes that made me wish for my own hunky vampire boyfriend (although I am satisfied with my geeky, cute one). If you like romance novels and fantasy books, you need to read this series. 0.032 seconds to build listing
