Op weg naar zijn oude school herinnert Pieter Vink het zich opeens weer allemaal. Examentafeltje nummer 1 was onbezet gebleven. Er was iets gebeurd met Sietse, het studje dat zelfs sommige leraren de baas was, maar ook het eeuwige mikpunt van gepest en getreiter door de 'stoere binken'. En niemand die er iets van durfde zeggen. Tijdens de reunie komt Pieter er langzamerhand achter wat zich destijds allemaal heeft afgespeeld en waarom het tafeltje op de dag van het eindexamen onbezet bleef.... ( )
