Some of his works are laughably obscene, but this book really delves deep into his philosophy on religion and humanity in general. A great read for anyone interested in the early stages of nihilism and atheism. (

Sade was a very sick man, but he could make some good social commentary. As sick as the specifics of his story are, the actual overall story is sickly humorous. (
