Very little in common, yet they share 1 very specific subject. I finished In the Courts of the Crimson Kings. I really enjoyed it. It was a very interesting contrast to it's predecessor, The Sky People. Both books were great.

Sequel to The Sky People, which I read last month. The Sky People took place on Venus, which was covered in jungles and inhabited by dinosaurs and primitive neanderthals. In the Courts of the Crimson Kings takes ... ... (placed a hold at the library for it), so it certainly captured my interest.
Next I'll be finishing S. M. Stirling's In The Courts of the Crimson Kings which I was really enjoying until I made the mistake of looking at Knife ... ;)
The LT threads are so full of good book suggestions... Reading In the Court of the Crimson Kings still. Probably won't get more than a couple chapters into it over the weekend. Might as well say I'll start it Monday. ... books out the door, and my next trip might be excusively nonficton (616).

When I picked The Sky People up at the used bookshop they had a good selection of Stirlings novels - someone perhaps had sold off their collection - I wasn't that familiar with Stirling so just bought the one.
