Somebody was watching her

She had read about stalkers, but they belonged in a different, faraway world. She had no idea who it could be, who would want to harm her. She was trying desperately not to panic, but lately her sleep had been filled with nightmares, and she had awakened each morning with a feeling of impending doom.

Thus begins Sidney Sheldon's chilling new novel, Tell Me Your Dreams. Three beautiful young women are suspected of committing a series of brutal murders. The police make an arrest that leads to one of the most bizarre murder trials of the century. Based on actual events, Sheldon's novel races from London to Rome to the city of Quebec to San Francisco, with a climax that will leave the reader stunned.

Sidney Sheldon thinks outside the box with Tell Me Your Dreams. You either love it or hate it, as Ashley Patterson is a complex character struggling with multiple personality disorder or in lamens terms, the chick has a split personality. This leads to the mystery of events/things happening all around Ashley and Toni, Alette, and Ashley's dad trying to help Ashley get a handle on it. The chapters can get a bit confusing, but by the end everything is brought together in an abrupt end that gives you more than enough satisfaction if you're made it that far into the book. It's a read once and put it on the shelf book.

I have this added to my personal bookshelf, and even though I can't remember when I finished it, I will forever love Sidney Sheldon. I'm sure if he'd lived longer he'd have written more enjoyable books but it's amazing how he can construct three different characters and meld them into one so seamlessly, with such a surprise ending..Love It!! Excellent book. Fast read. Psychological thriller. ( )

This was a quick read and a typical Sheldon story. There were some gaps in the descriptions of the murders and how inept the police were, but it was written quite awhile ago, so some of it would be different in a post 9/11 world. ( )

I'm glad that it's finished. Not because I didn't like it, but just because it was too spooky and got under my skin. Sidney Sheldon has that effect on you. His stories get under your skin.

Tell Me Your Dreams was full of suspense, gory murders, science and the question of what really was the crime?

A gripping story about hate, illness and controversies, Tell Me Your Dreams was an amazing read! ( )
