Setting: Georges Vermeersch komt wegens goed gedrag onverwacht terug uit de gevangenis (hij is veroordeeld tot 3 jaar wegens aanranding van zijn dochter Christiane). Zijn vrouw Jeanne ontvangt hem, maar het gaat nogal ongemakkelijk want zij heeft inmiddels een kind van zijn vriend Erik die naast hen woont. Dan gaat het stuk verder als een ontknoping van grote en kleine menselijke gevoelens.
Knap, sober maar toch trefzeker. Veel meer echt toneel dan Suiker.
