I read this a long time ago, and remember it being vaguely good. ( )

The Casteel series was by far my favorite of the VC Andrews series. I read these as a teenager and now even in my adulthood enjoy picking them up and reading them again!!

I found Heaven to be less likable in this book than in the previous ones, and I'm thinking this might be caused by the sudden change in authors. Either way, this was my least favorite of the Casteel books. ( )

I always feel better about my own life after reading a V.C. Andrews book.

No matter how bad things seem, at least I'm not wondering whether my uncle or husband is the father of my baby... ( )

Third in the Casteel Series. I thought this book was better than the second one, Dark Angel. All I can say is that Heaven is one of the most messed up women I have read so far. Interesting twists in this book. Ending was nice. ( )

Proud and beautiful, Heaven came back to the hills -- to rise at last above her family's shame!

As Logan's bride, she would savor now the love she had sought for so long. And free from her father's clutches, she would live again in her backwoods town, a respected teacher and cherished wife. But after a wedding trip to Boston's Farthinggale Manor and a lavish, elegant party, Heaven and Logan are persuaded to stay...lured by Tony Tatterton's guile to live amidst the Tatterton wealth and privilege. Then the ghosts of Heaven's past rise up once more, writhing around her fragile happiness...threatening her precious love with scandal and jealousy, sinister passions and dangerous dreams!
