No current Talk conversations about this book.

A fun look at the world, could have been helped a little with a "what happened in the world" timeline to give some of it some context. A few new tidbits but nothing really exceptional. Written as humourous short bits it would make an ideal book for dipping in and out of, would probably make an ideal toilet book. ( )

By turns bizarre, surprising, trivial, and enlightening, this book offers rich pickings for the browser, and entertainment and inspriation aplenty for those who have grown weary of more conventional works of history.
