Quite a well-written "true crime" book, this tells the fascinating story of Mark Hoffmann, a document dealer who "found" letters and other documents dealing with the origins of the Mormom church. Because of their occult overtones, the hierarchy of the church sought to buy and suppress them. Then pipe bombs explode, two people are killed and Hoffmann is badly injured.

A good book about an intriguing literary and religious hoax.
